Telfast

i have regular itches on my skin,i scratch and it swells....my doctor put me on telfast tabs for a month but problem still persists

Very bad experience I was rushed to hospital.. As I had an allergic reaction to it tight hands swollen and tight hands and lips. Trouble breathing turns Bright red. I thought I was having a stroke or something and I am only 28..

Itchy rash on my neck and extremely fatigued. But effective for hayfever symptoms!

I take Telfast at night - and wake up with a plitting headache and nausea

I recently moved (incredibly stressful) and hey-presto, got eczema for the first time ever. I was in agony, trying to scratch my skin off my bones and covered in blisters. I started taking Telfast and it has disappeared! So far (1 week) no side effects. THANK YOU Telfast!

I have been using telfast for 3 years now and I have not got any side affects.

i cant sleep. i sleep only for 4hours

I have the same symptoms as Sue, Woke up 3-4am.

drowsy, insomnia, slight palpitation, nervousness.

I eat Telfast 8 years, and first ( first mounth ) I have tiredness, but now I have not any side effects. I live like normal peoples, and I can go out in spring...thank you Telfast!!!!

Drawsy, Tiredness, Fatigue.  It is bad as Benadryl (cold medisine you take before go to bed)

I get quick relief that lasts for almost overnight. It is not a complete cure of itichness.

I have been on Telfast for the pass 10 days but have not been able to sleep well.  I have been waking in the early hours (3am approx) and then tossed and turned for practically the rest of the night.  This is making me tired and stressed which is contradictory to the reason I am taking Telfast, an allergy which can be exacerbated by stress. 

been feeling nauseas as for ages, pretty sure its the telfast but never have really thought that it would have caused it,

I wake up talking to someone at night. am becoming forgetful and forgetting key words that I used to use.

Serious stomach discomfort and constipation.

Woke up yesterday, sat up and felt dizzy. Laid down felt dizzy, felt frightened. Had been taking Telfast 180 for 8 days. Have now stopped

i'm pregnant....and i accidentally take telfast 180 instead of my prescribed antibiotic 'coz they have the same packaging....im scared for my baby...just wanna know the adverse effect on it?

can you take 2 tablets of telfast 180mg a day

Blood pressure rises dramatically, avoid if you have pre or high blood pressure!

I am of 53 suffering with skin problem for several years. Doctors are unable to diagnose the exact problem. Some doctors say it is Urticaria, some say it is some sort of Eczema and so on. The current physician advised to take RONEX(Cetirizine), LORIN-NSA(loratadine) and Telfast-120mg. All tablets to be taken twice a day. I don't know which of the three tablets is causing me abnormal increase in itching on hips and thy areas. It may be the combination of all three tablets, or most probably it is Telfast alone. The problem I suffer with is more during nights than day times. I will appreciate if somebody comments on it. My email address is altafmukati@gmail.com

I received the tablet for the exact same reason, I was diagnosed with Ultricaria and Dermatographism (spelling?) otherwise known as "Skin Writing".  Now, my sleep is very strange as I wake up earlier if I go to bed later, and wake up later if I go to bed earlier.  I've also been taking a lot more 2 hour naps since taking them.

Was given this to stop an unexplained all over body itch - GP gave me this instead of usual antihistamine. Bllood tests had not revealed any concerns.
After a few days of taking Telfast, the itch was far worse and kept me awake at night. i re read the information sheet in box, only to see that an itch can be a rare but possible side effect!
Pharmacist let me go back to old tablet. Within a day, the dreadful itch had disappeared so I'll persevere with the old tablet - no more Telfast for me! Will see GP to confirm.

Stopped the contast mucous in my throat but has left me with a burning feeling in my oesophagus.

Chris, have you had any more of these eye episodes. I took Telfast tab a few days ago and then experienced strange "light" effects with my left eye. Very scary. Stopped taking them because I didn't know if Telfast (which I had never taken before) was causing it or not. Hve you had any medical feedback at all?

I took a Telfast tab for the first time today - at about 1:00pm. I am currently experiencing strange "light" effects with my right eye - depth perception is off etc. Is this from the Telfast tab?
