Temazepam

I lost traack of how long i have been taking temazepan 30 mg. Sometimes whn I cant sleep I open the capsule throw half of it away and take the other half. I fall asleep without a problem.
Inoticed that if I eat at a dinner party late at night, the pill doenst work with a belly full. Sometimes gives me nightmares, but lately is getting worse. I heard that I shouldnt go cold turkey, so I am going to ask my doctor.
I started taking the pill while I worked as a Tour Guide, taking airplanes from one country in south america to the US or to Europe. It was not easy.
I am tired of being dependent of a pill that is no good for my system. If u can, dont take anything, fall asleep as u always did, wait until u feel like sleeping, dont make the mistake I did. God bless u all!

I have been hitting the temazepain a lot now,  I also take about 250mg morphine er for chronic pain daily,  I am looking at major recoinstructive leg surgery in ten days and real upticht, this is surgery eleven and if it does not go well I could easily loose my leg.

I started with 30mg at bedtime but still uptight and could not sleep or relax.  Had strange thoughts.  Was able to get extra script and have doubled to 60mg with my last 6omg about an hour before bed.  I am a classical musician and when I turn up sirius radio met. opera station 24/seven I may as well be sitting in the Gran Tier.  The sound is wonderful, better on my cheap stereo system than some I listened to costing 10 to 15k.

It is a wonderful drug to bring you down a few steps on the ladder to  a nice slow garden at twilight watching a very slow flowing river.  THE MUSIC DOES NOT SURROUND YOU IT BECOMES YOU, YOU ARE CREATING IT BY JUST LISTENING TO IT WITH YOUR NEW HIGHTNED ABILITIES.  Mountain knees will get some extra scripts from a trusted RNPC for when I return and need to mellow out after physical therapy.
I see no need to give it up after the surgery even if it is successful and I have never been nore with the moment and the music before hitting th 60mg level.

Remember I have been on opiates and temaz for over seven years so I have a very high tolerance, I would never suggest a newbe start with 60 plus 60 morphine in the same swallow, the idea is to feel slow and a member of a different and finer world, not to be put into a pine box.
Be careful, but once you feel secure the trip is well worth the time and money.

i don,t know how the health service works  but i need temazepam to sleep as i suffer really bad tinitus.but i can,t get prescribed ..yet i hear people who have been prescribed temazepam for the slightest thing..for me xanax would be the better option but doctors in the uk don,t even act like it exists ..i would even offer to buy temazepam from anyone willing to sell them to me i am getting so desperate..this government should be ashamed of themselves..

i was first prescribed temazepam 31 years ago after my husband died he was only 27 and we had 2 small children i take them during the day as well as at night i always run out of them before my repeat is due ii would rather not take them and did stop for a while they have ruined my life

I have no problem with this drug, only that it takes at least two hours for it to work for me. I was doing the Ambien generic, but it caused horrible nightmares. It worked almost immediately after taking, but the dreams were bad.

Neither my surgeon from knee replacement or my internist has told me that Temazepan is habit forming.  I had knee surgery 6 weeks ago and I'm still taking one pill at night.  I have severe night sweats and I am not menopausal.  Can anyone offer a solution to getting off Temazepan?
