Hi Bob,
Like you my mum…
Hi Bob,
Like you my mum is 59 and has GBM4. She also has completed her 6 weeks radiation and chemo. She was off everything for the last 4 weeks and is starting a higher dosage (150mg) of temodar next month. Good to talk to aomeone who is going through the same as her...how are you keeping now since you started you're higher dosage? -
Male 59 yrs old with GBM4…
Male 59 yrs old with GBM4 and just completed 6 weeks of radiation along with Temodar . First 3 weeks appetite was intense due to the decadron but then zero appetite coupled with nausea and had a one week bout with puss bags appearing in mouth with sore gums. Mouth OK now and nausea is much less , will be starting higher dose less often next month .

My husband has just started…
My husband has just started his radiation and chemo treatment for GBM this week. Morning after taking Temodar oral form was violently ill-nauseous, shaking, vomiting, diarhea.,zero appetite even with Zofra. Next day slightly better-slept all day(added decadron). 3rd day slightly better again but still nauseous. Today felt fine re:nausea but has had increasing short term memory loss and confusion, disorientation. He asks me if he's taken his medications every 5 minutes. Also mentioned double vision briefly I am very worried about this latest development. It is Sat night and on call physician has not called me back. Has anyone else had similar experiences? Is this temporary? Do I need to get him to the emergency room?
