Do thyrogin shots followed by RAI have side effects lasting more than a few days?

Had first injection yesterday felt pretty much fine.  A little tired but nothing out of the ordinary.  I think the stress of the ordeal got to me more then anything else. Today I had my second injection. Feel a little light headed today and have a metal taste in my mouth. The area of the two injections is a little sore.

Today I had my second Thyrogen shot.  Both days at first I was a little dizzy, tasted metal, then that was it.  I was tired yesterday at the end of the day.  No nausea, I can focus.  I'm fine. 

I received a dose on May 12 and May 13, 2010 that Friday on May16 i got a really violent headache.  By Saturday, I ended up with terrible sweating, fatigue, gastrointestinal problems.  On Sunday more of the same.  Monday still sick all of the above.  By Tuesday I still had the same symtoms felt horrible.  On Wednesday I then had diarhea.  On Thursday I went to my oncologist for results and he said I probably had a virus.  I looked on internet and saw the side effects list for thyrogen...I called him back and asked him to look at it..he sent me to the emergency room...the er doc didnt know what she could do to stop it but i was severly dehydrated and now had a bladder infection...they gave me iv and antibiotic and sent me home..i am still waking up in the middle of the night drenched in my own sweat from head to toe...no relief yet

which medication gives you a better boost thyrogen or synthroid
