Tramacet

I take tramacet every day for my osteoperosis. I suffer from an itchy scalp and itchy skin which seems to be getting worse. I am 82 years of age & have taken the drug for almost 4 years.

I took Tramacet post op. I took it for 3 days and my head and ears started buzzing and still are 6 days later. I stopped taking it but took it again on the 5th day before going to sleep as I had some pain. I woke up about 2AM and didnt sleep for 22 hours and didnt feel exhausted. I never did so many house chores in one day! I also had itchy skin.

My husband took it and went absolutely manic, screaming and over-excercising after an ankle surgery. We could not restrain him but he has since calmed down.

This stuff is dangerous.

My mother has never been the same since the episode with Tramacet.

My mother had the worst halucinations on Tramador and was in hospital for 5 days with the effects getting worse before they got better. At one stage when I walked into her ward she was talking to the railings around her bed and did not know what a brush, mirror, actually anything was!
The doctor has since said she is allergic and was lucky to live through this.

I have lost consciousness on one occasion and thought I was having a heart attack on the second. I have since got rid of the Tramacet as it seems to be having quite a bit of side effects on me.

hi Linda. i see your post was in April. how do you feel? did you also have fever symptoms or more like face burning. im a very pale person not even normal fever makes my face burning this way. i can only think it's a side effect of the meds?!! tell me more of your experience if you can. thx and go well

i had sudden acute pain on my right side affecting my lung. after being on a drip at hospital was sent home with the diagnosis that it is a viral infection. i had no fever only deep pain on my right quadrant. doctor sent me home and prescribed tramacet for pain. took 2 tablets only..and just over an hour i was very dizzy but the pain was gonne i was relieved. but couldn't sleep whole night had heart papitations and my face is literally burning. i cannot understand the reason because i don't feel feverish yet my face is red and burns! could this be the pills or should i have it checked by doctor.

I feel very sick after i took Tramacet for two days now, but this morning i didnt drink tramacet and still suferred, from some side effects. My neck is itchy and swollen up, bad headackes, dizzy and nauseous and the worst is abdominal pain, cramp. I feel sicker. I went to doc for my lower back that was sore and now everything is sore. Please help me?

Felt nauseous, feels like I want to cough, shaky - not a nice feeling

I take tramacet nightly for knee pain, it helps, I too get the side effects of itchy skin and sometimes noise is irritating, but other than this I find it to be a good drug.  I also find that it has the same effect as coccaine when you take it with alcohol. Not a good habit to get into ....

I take tramacet regularily for knee pain. I find that if I take it a couple days in a row the second or third day of taking them I will stutter my words. My face, nose in particular get very itchy as well, almost every time I take them. I also get what my friend calls "Whiskey Voice" where my voice goes deep and gravelly as if I just woke up or had been drinking alcohal late at night. I also find certain tones of voices irritate me, low voices in particular. My husbands voice always seems very loud to me.

I mention these as I have found they don't seem to be listed as side effects on places I have looked. They aren't hard to deal with at all but something to be aware of, the stuttering can be annoying if you have to work and are trying to express something. It doesn't seem to be very bad for me luckly.

I drank 2 tramacets last weekend at my sisters place. Its Friday and I am still sick. This could be beause I also use cylift 20mg once a day and Quolonum 450mg twice a day. Or is it just a side affect? Never again.

I am concerned about taking Tramacet and Celebrex - should I be concerned?  I have not taken the Tramacet as it was prescribed today

In addition to the below complaints I have had hallucinations several times.

I just did.

Started taking Tramacet Friday.  Sat. evening started feeling nauseated. Sunday threw up and have been feeling sick, tired, and have pain in lower left side of belly button. in 3 places.  since Sunday afternoon. 

Started Tramacet  Friday night. Started feeling sick Sat evening, sick to mystomack and stared , throwing upSunday, very tired. ,pain started Sunday.  Pain in 3 spots in lower left side of belly button,  in a diamond shape pattern. I have been sick, tired, in pain since Sat.
