Trimethoprim

After a 1 week course of Trimethoprim 200mg. I developed mild thrush on day3, muscle weakness for 1 day on the day after completion of the course and, 3 days after completion generalised urticaria. Not sure if this is delayed sensitivity but I assume all are related.

I have just entered my 2nd day of taking trimethoprin and have developed a severe headache, pain in my lower back including higher in the kidney area. My left groing right diwon my leg in to my toes is throbbing. The doctrs fing this hard to believe it is drug related.

I started this drug yesterday am and have expereinced a severe headache and also bloodshot eyes - I don't see the latter in the side effect list?

I have been on Trimethoprim for acne for 2 days and I have a constant headache and feel slightly sick. I hope this passess soon. Has anyone else been feeling like this?

I started to take trimethoprim yesterday, and today i am experiencing back pain in the kidney area.

I had been taking Trimethoprim for 3 days when i developed a mild pruritis which doesnt seem to be getting any worse by 5th day.

I have been taking Trimethoprim for 2 weeks and my legs ache aswell as my back. I was perscribed It twice, I have also experinced bloating.                           I really think that Doctors should expliam the side effects before they perscribe 

Im the same, ive just been given these today for a urinary infection.
Ive had the first one and almost instantly my back/side is in pain??
Im not sure i really want to take these if this is just the beginning, plus this page is far from reassuring with the first report showing death!!!

Iv just taken one pill already my back aches, irritated stomach and im needing to go to the loo more often!?!?!? why is this. is this normal?

One 200mg pill caused severe bloating, extreme tenderness of intestines, extreme sensitivity of skin covering abdomen.   Walking aggravated these conditions.
