Veramyst

After taking Veramyst for several days, I started having loose bowels.  As soon as I quit taking Veramyst the problem went away.  I have found no record of anyone else reporting this strange side effect. 

After taking Veramyst for 3 days I started having trouble sleeping through the night and my heart started pounding. This continued to get worse where I was not able to sleep for more than a couple of hours a night. I didn't realize it was the Veramyst until day 6 and I stopped taking it. It has been 3 days since I took it and I still have insomnia. I wish I knew how long until it wears off because I am exausted.

A doctor prescribed Veramyst because he thinks I've had long term intrinsic inflammation in my nasal passages. He wanted to decrease that inflammation. Before I started taking it, I wasn't really having any symptoms, but the doctor was concerned about the inflammation so he put me on it. I've been on Veramyst for 10 days and decided to stop taking it. After the first dose, I experienced an onset of nasal symptoms (sneezing, sinus pressure, post nasal drip, etc). I kept taking it anyway thinking it would be temporary. After the 3rd dose I got a minor headache. Every dose thereafter caused a headache, and post nasal drip and sinus pressure continued. Today the headache was so bad that I almost had to leave work. Around the 8th dose my eyes started hurting and feeling itchy, which has never been a problem for me.
