Vesicare

I have been taking Vesicare for a week and have noticed increasing dizziness. I already had dry mouth and dry eyes and have not noticed any worstening of these conditions. I began taking a zinc supplement just prior to the Vesicare and wonder if that may be contributing or even causing the dizziness?

I have been taking vesicare for 5 weeks now and in that time have had two nasty fungal infections and have ended up on anihistamines they are so bad. I'm wondering if there is a link and if fungal infections are a side effect of vesicare. I'm on the lowest dose which is 5mg daily

I have been on Vesicare for a month. I dont' have the frequent urges like I did. However, my blood pressure has been high for the last 3 days. Is this a side effect from Vesicare??

Been on vesicare for six months now. Totally works for me, except the dry eyes and nose are really annoying, but better than wetting at 40yrs old

I've been taking vescare on and off for about 6 years now.  It worked well initially and it was one of the only tablets that I could take without suffering side effects (I have an allergy to most things unfortunatley).  Recently my doctor upped the  dosage to 10mg as I was starting to need the loo more and more, but it hasn't helped. The need to go to the loo is affecting my life again as I am afraid to go out too far!  Is 10 mg the highest dose you can go to?  

My 82 year old dad was placed on vesicare. He was healthy except for post polio syndrome and took only aspirin. He developed an acute anti-cholinergic reactions with tardive dyskinesia, hallucinations, confusion and increased motor weakness. His symptoms were similar to a neurolopetic reaction. He has recovered from the acute symptoms but remains with some hallucinaitons (mild) but require control and as a consequence of the hospitalization has not recovered his previous mobility.
