  • I had 7 treatments of Visudyne…

    I had 7 treatments of Visudyne a few years ago and on the sixth I had nausea with the treatment before the Visudyne  and then on 7th. treatment the Visudyne affected me pretty badly whilst Visudyne was entering my system. I received similar to an electric shock right through my torso (not my legs,head or arms) but it was so painful I did not go for further treatment with Visudyne.  I have AMD in left eye and it appears not to be getting any worse as far as my sight.  Right eye, cataract removed and sight still perfect.  Ninety two years old in March and still driving a car.  Feel I will give Lucentis a try should my sight alter in any way. I did report to Novartis my experience at the time.
