I received an amazing account of one woman’s recent experience in the US. She was diagnosed with glaucoma during a routine eye examination. She then was tested by three additional specialists. The diagnosis was the same: glaucoma. This woman had read that FRANKINCENSE essential oil is often associated with improved vision, so she decided to try it in lieu of the chemical drops.
Morning and evening:
1-2 drops of FRANKINCENSE essential oil in palm dropped from the bottle
Rub palms together
Cup palms over OPEN EYES for three minutes (or more)

When she returned for a follow-up eye examination after six weeks, the pressure in her eyes was NORMAL, and there was no sign whatever of any optic nerve damage!

The pressure in my eyes has never been tested to be above the normal range. However, I am currently 64-years-old, and I have worn one contact lens for reading since 1990. I have been using frankincense essential oils around my eyes (on the cheek bone and on the brow bone) once or twice a day for over five years. Not only has my prescription not increased in the past 17+ years, I have now found that I can often read quite well without the lens at all.

Started on Travatan Z for 6 days, then used Xalatan for 10 days and experienced fever and frontal headaches every night, along with dry cough and pain under left ribs. Felt very sick. Switched back to Travatan Z again today and the headache and fever are gone. Will see if this good trend continues.

I was diagnosed as having borderline glucoma and initially given Timolol eye drops which I applied twice in a day. Then after using it for 1 9 months Pilogel eye ontment was added to be applied once a day in the evenings. I used both medicines together for about 3 months and I was asked to use only te Pilogel in the evening. After another 1 year anytime I applied the pilogel I experience sharp pain in the eye and severe headaches. i reported this to the opthalmologist and she put me on Xalatan. It worked very well with no problem until after 4 years of use then I began to feel pains and slight headache when I use the Xalatan so I stoped using it. I am currently on no medication and I feel quite uncomfortable as I fear nerve damage.

Painful eyes, headaches and blurred vision.

hi my mother suffering from glaucoma and she is 52 yrs old.She also takes regular medicine for blood pressure.I want what side effects and measures we can take to avoid any further damage.thanks

What is the risk factors of taking Symbicort and Xalatan at the same time?  What percentage of patients have elevated IOP?  What percentage of patients experience visual changes?  Is the risk factors the same for Travatan Z and Lumigan as with Xalatan?

What is the percentage of patient's that have drug side effects on Xalatan taking Symbocort?
