Xanor

HI, my dad takes Xanor with alcohol..... is it bad for him and should he rather take it with water?

Sometimes, I have panic reaction maybe due to my allergies or chemical imbalance so I take Xanor but only as needed. For me its a good friend you can rely on in times of crisis. It's helpful and it works! I always have Xanor in my pocket for past 6 yrs now. My average intake in a year is 1 tab per month, not bad. And thank God that I don't have other regular medication and I don't drink alcohol eirther. Trying to be HEALTHY as we could that is one real ASSET we have.

However, not everyone is compatible to this prescription drug called Xanor. Thus, its important to observe and know your body reaction to the drug so you could either stop, change other form or continue using it. It is also important to know the compatibility of Xanor with other meds you are taking for safety. You have a right to complain to your doctor or stop if incase the adverse effect is such that makes your situation worse. Your doctor is just human, practicing medicine and not all perfect. You know your own aches, discomfort and feelings more than any doctor. It is important to know our own body chemistry.

I'm believer in natural therapy. Xanor drug is great but this is just my last resort. If it works for you, then take it as you need it and not by wants....Furthermore, Xanor have saved me, my son and my husband in many crisis situation specially outside the hospital and travelling. Its great use for first aid. Thank you for inventing this drug!

I experienced having anxiety fro the past 10 months, I ll take xanor and revotril, 1/2 tab. once a day

I take Xanor as a calming pill, also been diagnosed with Bi polar. I cannot say i have any of these side effects however i do feel that it does immiediatly help with calming me when my anger gets to intense.

My boyfreind took one of my pills after drinking, he as ADHD. Well needless to say that was disater, he could not walk, does not remember anything after taking the pill.

You should see a doctor about that.

I'm bi-polar with elements of borderline personality disorder. Xanor works for me but I know that coming off them is a no-go not just because it is addictive but because my condition is is chronic. Since I've been taking Xanor(NO generics!!!)I have no bad dreams or nightmares. My weight fluctuates but it doesnt bother me much. I have Wellbutrin, Lamictin and Xanor prescribed and my opinion is: if it makes you feel better then why not take it? If it saves yr life as in my case it did and still does? Sure in the beginning it clouds the thoughts and makes one sleepy but you build up a resistance to those side effects with time and function properly after a while.  As for the guest with the husband with the 'disgusting' sexual thoughts? It's always been there its just now he's so relaxed he actually lives those thoughts? the pills have nothing to do with them. probably he always had those thoughts but suppressed them so when he took the Xanor he relaxed enough to actually 'free' his mind. 

Doubt it was the pills honey.

my head seems hotter everytime i took this medication prescribed to me by my doctor.. i just wanna ask if what are the side effects of prodin. thank you and Godbless..

My husband was on Xanor for some years. (One at night) If helped him sleep.
It gave him the most disgusting sexual thoughts. He ended up visiting prostitutes to fulfill these. Long story from there-on.........

Love them, to be honest I could not go thru life without them since I got G.A.D and agoraphopia. To me these pills are a God Seent!!

I took Zanor for two nights now (for the first time).  I had the most devasting nightmares on both these nights... The worst I've EVER experienced. 
I'm 69 years of age....but cannot carry on taking these tablets any longer !
