Xifaxan

Bacteria in stomach. I failed breath test. It was off the charts. Don't understand how I got this. Was sick knocking on heavens door from the big Planters Peanut recall, but don't know if this is related. My daughter cleaned up after me and her sister during that time, (it was horrible and disgusting, but nithing we could do at home), and then she got high diffuse b cell lymphoma cancer at 21 years old shortly after. I say it is all related somehow. We are very clean people. Makes no sense. More studies have to be done. BTW pain pills do not help with the tenderness pai in stomach. At least not hyrocodone 10mg. Doctors, and researchers, please listen to us who are trying to tell you that some of these medical issues are related.

And my vision is blurry, hense the typos.

I am so sick.The pain of tenderness in and around my entire stomach is too much. I was sick before taking, now sciker after taking for 3 days. I am more swollen in my stomach than ever before. And I am swollen all over including my ankles, hands ect. I am gaining weight. I am aleady fat. I am so tired. And yes, I am scared. Very scared. The gas build up is too much. I prayed to get the frug for o long, and now I pray it will work.

I started taking Xifaxan 5 days ago and gained 8 olbs.

xifaxan is very pricey if you don't have a prescription plan...medicare was billed over $1000 for 60 500mg pills...my husband is taking milk thistle which is good for liver fuctions...doc approved of using it.   There are online drug companies all over the world but I haven't researched any as of yet...use caution when buying drugs online

My husband takes 500mg 2x day for liver disease and chronic hepatic encelaphathy...doc wants to increase to 3x day.  We know longer qualify for extra help through s.s. Can't afford the co pay of over $600 a month.  He's been on the 2x's for about a year...his encelaphathy hasn't really impoved and has been in the hospital at least 4 times for extreme unresponsiveness...mainly cause of high ammonia levels of which he takes kristalose to combat the ammonia level...How do I know if xifaxan is helping and how long does one continue to be raped by phamacutical companies?  I'm seriously thinking about changing his care at danville PA to Phili PA...Any input would be appreciated.   

i had extreme bloating and cramping....cleared up it 2 days... very costly but worth it
