Have been on Yasmin for about…
Have been on Yasmin for about 7 years. Decided to stop taking the pill about a week ago and since then have developed horrible aching pains behind my left knee, temperature, headache, tight chest, heart palpitations etc.
Ended up in A&E the other day having an ECG and D-Dimer blood test to rule out DVT/blood clots. They have given me the all clear but every day since I get heart palpitations and tight chest with dull aching chest. I've been off work with this for 3 days now as i feel awful. Like nothing I've experienced before in my life, keep having to calm myself down or it makes it worse!
I really hope this goes away soon, I cant wait for all of this drug to get out of my system so I can get on with my life =(

46 years old. Prescribed Yasmin to delay period as going on holiday. Only took for 10days as made me cry for no reason, ended up throwing pills in the bin as they made me moody, tired. suffer severe stomach cramps and worst and scariest of all SERIOUSLY SUICIDAL. Never felt so wretched in my life.
I was given Yasmin to control…
I was given Yasmin to control bleeding caused by uterine fibroids. After 1 pill my right foot began to be sore. After 5 pills the pain in both my feet had become so excruciating that I was unable to walk. I stopped taking it, and after 24 hours the pain is beginning to subside. I also experienced migraine headache, ringing in my ears, dizziness and nausea.
