Zarontin

I took Zarontin because I had maxed out on the dosage of one of my other seizure medications. I am 24 years old and have had epilepsy since I was 13. I started taking Zarontin about 2 weeks ago because of increased number of absence seizures. After taking it for about a week and a half, I experienced what looked like a seizure. Come to find out, it was a severe panic attack. My arms were shaking uncontrollably, my pulse went up to about 140, and I was aware of everything going on. Also, the medicine was not being absorbed into my system, and it was also making my other medication levels increase. My neurologist stopped the medication immediately after realizing it was the medication that was causing it. I ended up in the ER 3 times before finding this out. The medication is still in my system, so I still have small anxiety episodes, so now I'm just waiting...
