hot flushes and night sweats, no sex drive at all,headaches and very painful stiff fingers. only up side no periods but still got period pains.

The same here. I think there is a link with RA and zoladex. The doctors dont agree

I've severe pain in my vertebral column just under neck region, becoming overweight and hotflashes

Have been on it for 1 year now, plus Tamoxifen, as treatment for positive hormone receptor breast cancer. Side effects are extreme fatigue, mood swings (irritability being the worst), depression (only a couple of days a month), insomnia, and very intense hot flashes. No weight gain so far.

I am 27 and I was diagnosed with Endometriosis 6 years ago. In that time I have had two laparoscopies and one laparotomy, a multitude of drugs including two terms with Zoladex. I am currently into my second month of the treatment. The first time was 5 years ago and I remember the side effects disrupting my life to the point of being unable to work. This time around I have experienced headaches, extreme exhaustion and fatigue, nightly insomnia, dizziness, decreased sex drive, weight loss, but the worst of them all is bloating in my stomach to an extreme. I am 5'4', a size US6/UK10 and the bloating in my stomach is so bad that I have experiences multiple times a day with people confusing me for being pregnant. Even friends that I haven't seen in a while have touched my stomach to congratulate me. The pain from my endometriosis is still quite intense, but the only symptoms that I'm being relieved of is my overactive bladder which they were unsure was caused by my endometriosis, as well as some issues with my colon which they also were unsure about. Now I get to look forward to another major surgery.

I'm on Zoladex for the 3rd time for endometriosis. I remembered the hot flashes & feeling emotional but this time I've got other symptoms as well. I've suffered from insomnia on & off for years but now its everyday. Once I actually fall to sleep I can't seem to wake up. I'm exhausted all the time. I've also been feeling dizzy to the point where my vision swims on & off throughout the day. With the dizziness comes nausea that makes me feel like I can't get enough air. The symptoms were bad enough that my doctor did a blood test & found that my potassium is too high. Now I have to get blood tests weekly. Since this is the only new medication to be introduced in my system the assumption is the zoladex is causing it. Now I have to worry about the potassium hurting my kidneys. On the bright side I'm having very few endometriosis pains but I'm feeling frustrated because I may have to stop taking the only thing that has been helping to keep it under control. My only other option is a hysterectomy. I'm only 34.

I have taken Zoladex since January 2010 as a treatment for Prostate Cancer, and Iv'e experienced severe mood swings, pain in my legs, joint pain, easily fatigued, muscle weakness, headaches and I seem to have diarrohea more often than a person should have, also my stomach is larger than it used to be. On a more posotive note, iv'e found that taking Evening Primrose Oil capsules on a daily basis, helps greatly with my mood swings.

After being on zolidex for endometriosis i now hae rheumatoid arthritis and other problems being investigated i feel cheated for a few months of less pain im now heading for a lifetime of more pain and operations.

After receiving the injection 1/22/11 I experienced light dizzyness, pain from the area to which the medication was injected. Later that evening is when the chills started. Today I still have chills along with leg pain.And swelling of the ankles.

Severe Photophobia. I had to wear sun glasses in my house, day and night lights affected my vision. Stabbing Pain in eyes. Joint pain, fatigue, imsomnia, increase in migraine pains, hot flashes and mood changes. Anxiety attacks.

Horrible nausea, dizziness, no feeling in fingers and toes and just generally exhausted...sigh, but doing what it's meant to be doing, so will just keep on walking through the side effects and get to the other bright sunny side.
