Zyloric

My uric acid level is just above the normal limit. I have started Zyloric tablets under prescription of a doctor. Please advise as to how long the treatment has to continue ? Will it be necessry to continue taking Zyloric tablets through out the life? Is it necessry to carry out any other tests to find our the reason(s) for increase in the Uric Acid level?

I have been told that my uric acid has lowered since taking zyloric but the doctor has lowered the dose as a blood test shows my kidneys arnt good.So if I keep taking zyloric will it harm my kidneys more.Also I feel i am more breathless is this a side effect? Has anyone else experenced these symptoms?

My URIC ACID always higher side i.e. between 8 to 9.6 from 10 years, I donot take Zyloric due to its side effect, what I should be taken as a medicine as well as daily diet for lowering uric acid.

I am 69 yrs man old and find it impossible to rise without any help beside my body alone. Is this natural. I must always  sit by the tree to hold...I am using zyloric since many years and I had also difficulties to pass water. Since testicles one of them bigger than usual. Now I got medicine and it is better passing water.Maybe I do not need to use zyloric when I can pass water freely and there will be no acid remaining in my body? Does it work this way?
