Pravastatin Side Effects Report #SELF-1862
Female patient reported the following Pravastatin side effect(s):diahrrea 5-8 times a day bleeding from rectum caused by diahrrea dizziness, disorientation, headaches vertigo nausea, abdominal & stomach cramping low back pain fatigue, lethargic, sleeplessness
Side effect symptoms started 24-36 hours into prescription run, escalated with each passing day, and ended about 24-48 hours after discontinuation. Physician was told of side effects & was asked to prescribe some other medication. His response was: \"find another doctor & don\'t come back here.\" Pharmacy was told of side effects & asked for advice. Response was to list both products under their drug alert system for allergic reaction in my file.

Other sensitivities include latex, oral birth control hormone, spermacidal gel, lemon juice, novocaine.
