Topamax Side Effects Report #SELF-2334
Male patient reported the following Topamax side effect(s):Extreme fatigue, severe back pain, joint pain, muscle aches, severe chest pain, shortness of breath, palpitations, panic attacks, severe lactose intolerance, diarrhea, general feeling of not being well, sexual dysfunction, mood swings
Side Effects were due to medication. I thought they were from another serious medical condition. They were intolerable and interfering with everyday life. I could not even function and it came to the point where I needed medical care. I still currently feel horrible. My doctor just lowered my dose from 100 mg daily to 50 mg daily and we are moving forward from there. I have no energy and I have severe chest and back pain. He has taken alot of blood work and will get the results back in several days. This may have reduced the intensity of my migraines, but in the end, it has made me more ill than I have ever been in my entire life. It is not worth it for me. I just hope too much damage has not already been done and/or something doesn\'t happen to me before I can rid myself of this awful medication.
