Actos Side Effects Report #SELF-2432
Male patient reported the following Actos side effect(s):I experienced blurred vision, dizziness,chest pain w/rapid heartbeat, and I have also gained weight. My teeth and gums have become more sensitive beginning treatment on 2/2/2009.
I was at home, cooking in my kitchen when I had a \"dizzy spell\" accompanied by rapid heartbeat blurred vision chest pain and feeling as if I were going to faint. I had to lie down for a few hours before regaining my composure and equilibrium.
Event date: Sunday February 22nd 12:00:00 AM
Dosage: actos 15 mg
Frequency: oral medication taken once daily.
Age: 44
Weight: 293
Other medications: Janument, Benezepril, Vytorin, and Baby Aspirin.
Diagnosis: I am a Diabetic, Type 2. I was prescribed this medication by my doctor because my A1c was up 7.2 from 6.7 on my last visit.
Pre-existing conditions: Male, African-American/Native American descent.
