Flolan Side Effects Report #SELF-2750
Female patient reported the following Flolan side effect(s):Infection and blood clot in central line. The blood clot extended from the upper tip of my heart all the way into my neck. I had flu-like symptoms of the infection for almost 6 months, but no infection on the central line site. I finally just went to the hospital and after a few days they figured it out. I was not taking a therapeutic dose of coumadin at the time which may have contributed to the blood clot. I stopped taking the flolan and I take nothing for pulmonary hypertension now even though it is severe, but I have Eisenmenger\'s which is pulmonary hypertension caused by a congential heart defect. The flolan never lowered my pulmonary pressures which were over 100 (by cardiac cath) before, during and after. Also the flolan gave me brain fog and constant migraines.
