Xolair Side Effects Report #SELF-2801
Female patient reported the following Xolair side effect(s):Anaphylaxis, pulmonary embolism, rash
In ICU for asthma attack, and given Xolair to see if it would work. Red splotch began on shoulder which had recently been operated on. Rash began to spread, and anaphylaxis ensued. Intubated and given intravenous benedryl.

Pre-existing conditions: Allergies to trees, mold, dust mites, grasses, Latex, Theophiline, asthma. Female non-pregnant caucasian with Alpha-1 anti-trypsian deficiency SZ phenotype. Non-smoker, non alcoholic use.
