Chloraprep Side Effects Report #SELF-4058

Female patient reported the following Chloraprep side effect(s):hives, red, itchy angry rash that continues to spread daily. 13 days and it continues to worsen.

Diagnosis: I had surgery on my ankle where chloraprep was used 13 days ago. I immediately noticed red dots above my leg cast post op. Not itchy. When my initial cast was removed day ten, we found my leg covered in hives. The rash/hives has continued to travel up my leg and worsen with each day.
Pre-existing conditions: hayfever allergy.
