Citalopram Side Effects Report #SELF-4310

Female patient reported the following Citalopram side effect(s):Drowsiness, nausea, insomnia, feeling of heart racing, difficulty breathing, blistering around the edges of lips causing swelling and discomfort. After 1 week of medication.

Initial side effects were nausea, headache and difficulty sleeping through the night. Three to four days later caused heart racing, anxiousness, feeling of tightness in chest and difficulty breathing followed by excessive yawning and fatigue. As these side effects faded they culminated in tiny white blisters and discoloration around the edges of my lips, at which point I discontinued use and sought medical attention. I also expereienced some confusion and difficulty remembering things.
