Lyrica Side Effects Report #SELF-5131

Female patient reported the following Lyrica side effect(s):Jerking, tremors, light headedness, dizziness, some confusion, sweating, itching, weight gain - 40 lbs, irritability. Had been on lyrica for a while w/o side effects then one day they all just hit at the same time!~ Terrible. Just terrible. I will say this drug is my first known allergy to drugs and will not take this drug ever again, nor its sister drug neurotin. I had prevously been on neurotin w/o any side effects then per docs orders was to go to the *new and imporved* sister drug Lyrica. Never again!~ Can someone ever...ever tell me if this goes away...all these side effects? Will anyone ever tell me the truth about this? Why in the world...would we put such a drug on the market if these are *common* side effects and NOT be verbally...and I DO MEAN verbally warned first? If I had...I would NOT have taken Lyrica in the first place. This is my body, no one but me has the right to make those decisions. Period.
