Ciprodex Side Effects Report #SELF-5151

Female patient reported the following Ciprodex side effect(s):Burning sensation, extreme pain, itchiness.

After ear became so swollen, drops were not able to properly instill in ear, so doctor put a wick in ear to absorb the drops and make sure they got to the proper place. First dose, caused some intense pain and itchiness, but second dose caused severe pain and a burning sensation.

Dosage: 4 drops 2 times a day
Frequency: Twice a day, 12 hours apart

Weight: 180
Other medications: Tylenol 3 and Extra Strength Advil for pain. Also Cephalexin 500mg antibiotic.
