DTAP (INFANRIX) problem was reported from NY on Apr 20, 2007. Male patient , child 1.4 years of age, was vaccinated with DTAP (INFANRIX) on Apr 19, 2007. Patient had onset of generalized tonic clonic seizures evening 2 days after immunizations. Patient had 3 days of URI's x 1 and fever prior to immunizations. Patient hospitalized for continued seizures. Patient received Dilantin and Heparin.. Tylenol. None. Patient was hospitalized Patient recovered.

Pt had fever about 24 hours after vaccine given mom noticed swelling of left deltoid which was hot, red and hard almost to the elbow. Probably arthus - but thought I should report.". None. . Left thigh swelled up and was very tight and hard. It was also sore to the touch. Swelling and soreness continued along with a fever of 101 to 102 F for 60 hours (2 1/2 days).. "Singulair, Multivitamin, Cod Liver Oil". Possible reactive airway disease. Patient recovered.

"Fever 104.9 3 hours after administration treated with Motrin, Tylenol. Patient recovered well - diagnosed with viral pharyngitis during his hospitalization. 05/15/07-records received for DOS 4/17-4/20/07-DC DX: Fever, resolved. Acute pharyngitis. Left otorrhea. Three hours after vaccines developed fevers between 104 and 105 and became lethargic. One day three of hospitalization noted to have pharyngitis appears to be viral. Clogged left myringotomy tube and discharge.". Ibuprofen. None records received 5/15/07-HX ear tubes and constant draining left ear.. Patient was hospitalized Patient recovered.

"Given MMR and Varicella left leg/thigh on 4-16-07. Next day had left leg, red, raised, rash, swollen, hot from upper thigh down to knee. Mother informed to ice/cold compress take Tylenol or Motrin appt on 1/18/07 to f/u. Little better taking Tylenol able to walk.". None. "NKDA, No medical conditions". Patient recovered.

"Patient was brought in by her mother and father. Reported redness and size of a 50 cent piece with swelling, mild pain. The area was hot to touch with a dime size knot in the middle approximately 30 hours after the injection. This occured on the right arm, the site whre the prevnar was given IM. Is currently still taking tylenol for symptoms. The nurse encouraged warm compresses to the area and benedryl . To return to the PMD or NCHD if symptoms persist or worsen.". None Noted. No Noted. Patient recovered.

DTAP (INFANRIX) problem was reported from MO on May 03, 2007. Male patient , child 5 years of age, was vaccinated with DTAP (INFANRIX) on Apr 27, 2007. "Child at grandmother's house on 4-26-07. In morning, grandmother noted fever (reached 101 degrees), child tired, somewhat lethargic. That evening mother noticed left arm swollen, hot and red. 4-27-07 child still running 99.8 degree fever, arm swollen 3"" x 3 1/4"" red, hot. Dr tx with Benadryl. Line drawn around redness. Redness increased to 8 1/4"" x 7"" width. Dr. prescribed steroid clantin. If not better will see doctor again. (1 previous dose of MMR and 1 previous dose vanvax was received by patient)". none. low grade asthma. Patient recovered.

"Patient complained of a swollen arm on morning of 4/27/07 after he awoke. No pain in arm, just swelling from elbow to shoulder and color of upper arm was ""splotchy"". Arm felt hard to the touch up around the shoulder area according to mother. No fever noted. Mother gave him Benadryl and applied a cool pack. He was seen by his Pediatrician that day and she started him on an antibiotic. By 4/30/07 his arm appeared ""normal"" to mother.". No. No. Patient recovered.

"4/18/2007 AM, injection sites red, swollen, saw MD no treatment given. 4/18/2007 PM, swelling increased, seen in ER, antibiotic injection given 4/19/2007, seen in ER and admitted, released 4/21/2007. 05/15/07-records received for DOS 4/19-4/21/07. DC DX:Cellulitis. Knot on leg and erythema, swelling left thigh.". NONE. Milk based formulas- rash records received 5/15/07-PMH:Reactive airway disease. Patient was hospitalized Patient recovered.

Instructed to go to the ER - was given Prednisone in the CR and a RX for Prednisone. Patient seen in our office 5/3/07 - no redness noted to area, no c/o pain (only when area is touched) Area was not warm to touch. Small amount of puffiness noted to area.". . . Patient recovered.

Pt sleepy that day. Next day Friday 4/27/07 pt was given Tylenol and Motrin alternating. Pt according to her mother had fever as high as 103. Pt would only breastfeed and refused pedialyte. Pt had Pt had no BM's, Left thigh had 7-8 red bumps around injection site was red and warm. Seen ER 4/29 and Dr office 4/30.". . . Patient recovered.

DTAP (INFANRIX) problem was reported from IL on May 07, 2007. Male patient , child 1.3 years of age, was vaccinated with DTAP (INFANRIX) on May 07, 2007. "Vaccines were given on 4/30/2007. Yesterday 05/06/2007, in the morning Mother noticed small slightly raised rash on upper abdominal area. Throughouy the day she noted it getting worse and by this morning he had the rash all over his trunk,legs,arms and head. She said she wouldn't have given the vaccines he received a week ago any thought, but there was a distinct redness and lump aroud the injection site of his right leg. Prior to this rash, he did not seem to have any problems following the vaccinations. Mom took him to an Immediate Care Facility at 12251 S. 80th Ave., Orland Park, IL. this morning where the Dr. told her it was an allergic reation but to what is still in question. He advised her to give Benadryl and report the reaction to our facility, although it is doubtful that this episode was due to the vaccination received on the 30th of April.". None. None. Patient recovered.

Male patient , child 5 years of age, was vaccinated with DTAP (INFANRIX) on May 08, 2007. swelling of (R) thigh (moderately to knee) minimal warmth/ no tenderness/ no erythema no mass palpable-full ROM of knee. To apply heat to area and TID/Tylenol prn pain recheck in office if swelling increases or PRN. none. NKA. Patient recovered.
